  • Lastly, the FNAIM Chamber of Real Estate Valuers of France has signed the Charter of Expertise. This is a document that identifies all national and European standards regarding property valuations.

The Charter of Expertise determines the general conditions for valuations as well as the ethical principles that apply to valuation experts.

REV accreditation

Since 2006, TEGoVA has been implementing official certification that recognises the skills and reliability of experts on a European level: REV – Recognised European Valuer certification. This is awarded individually for the duration of five years.

In France the responsibility of awarding REV and TRV certification was given to the FNAIM Chamber of Real Estate Valuers of France by TEGoVA (The European Group of Valuers’ Associations), European association of real estate experts that unites 63 associations in 35 countries.

TEGoVA’s main objective is to create and transmit harmonised European standards for property valuations and for training and qualifying expert valuers.
